Convert H263 to Android

Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. The most Android devices support the following video codecs: H.263, H.264, and MPEG-4 SP in 3GP or MP4 formats.

H263 to Android Converter Software converts H263 to Android compatible 3GP and MP4 easily. The output file is compatible with almost any Android devices such as Samsung Galaxy, HTC Titan, Motorola Droid, and so on. And, the file is playable by Android built-in media player without any extra applications.

The software also supports other formats and portable devices such as M4V, AAC, DTS, Android Tablet, WMV, PPM image sequence, 3G2, etc. The software could convert XVID to DivX, DVD to AC3, AVI to MP3, M4V to Windows Phone, RM to VCD, and so on. H263 to Android Software supports batch conversion and, is compatible with Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000.

What is H263?
H.263 is a video codec standard originally designed as a low-bitrate compressed format for videoconferencing. There are now four optional negotiable options included to improve performance: Unrestricted Motion Vectors, Syntax-based arithmetic coding, Advance prediction, and forward and backward frame prediction similar to MPEG called P-B frames. H.263 uses variable length coding to be transmit symbols The codec was first designed to be utilized in H.324 based systems (PSTN and other circuit-switched network videoconferencing and videotelephony), but has since also found use in H.323 (RTP/IP-based videoconferencing), H.320 (ISDN-based videoconferencing), RTSP (streaming media) and SIP (Internet conferencing) solutions. H.263 is CPU intensive, so data rates higher than 50 KBps may bog down most machines. It may not play well on lower-end machines. H263 video was developed by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) in a project ending in 1995/1996 as one member of the H.26x family of video coding standards in the domain of the ITU-T. H.263 supports for a limited set of picture sizes: 128x96, 176x144, 352x288, 704x576, and 1408x1152. It was designed for low bitrate communication, early drafts specified datarates less than 64 Kbits/s, however this limitation has now been removed. The coding algorithm of H.263 is similar to that used by H.261, however with some improvements and changes to improve performance and error recovery. The differences between the H.261 and H.263 coding algorithms are listed below. Half pixel precision is used for motion compensation whereas H.261 used full pixel precision and a loop filter. The support of 4CIF and 16CIF means the codec could then compete with other higher bitrate video coding standards such as the MPEG standards.

What is Android?
Android is a Linux kernel based Software platform which has been primarily developed by Google and other member companies of Open Handset Alliance. It's mainly a Mobile OS that allows third party developers to write managed code in the Java language. The Android platform is licensed under one of the most progressive open-source licenses available giving operators and manufacturers unprecedented freedom to design, build and distribute their own products. Because Android is an open source piece of software, Google actively encourages manufacturers to make basic changes to the look and feel of the user interface. This means that the interface of an Android phone from HTC will look and feel different from an Android phone from Sony Ericsson, despite the fact both phones run the same software platform. To use Android on a phone, you need a data plan on top of your voice plan. You can't even activate an Android phone without a data plan enabled. Some networks in the US offered tiered data service, and some offer unlimited plans. The latest release is 4.2 Jelly Bean. In 2010, Google launched its Nexus series of devices - a line of smartphones and tablets running the Android operating system, and built by a manufacturer partner. The OS is based on the Linux kernel and is written with middleware, libraries and APIs in C language, and includes Java-compatible libraries as well. Like the other very popular OS on the market, Apple's iOS, Android has a large database of third-party applications developed by independent programmers or companies, most of them written in Java. Android's user interface is based on direct manipulation, using touch inputs that loosely correspond to real-world actions, like swiping, tapping, pinching and reverse pinching to manipulate on-screen objects.
